This historic downtown hotel is celebrated for its distinctively stylish, boutique design and exemplary hospitality, often specifically praising staff members like Sebastian and Ky. guests overwhelmingly praise the luxurious beds and quality amenities, but note that the property lacks certain traditional luxuries like a pool or in-room coffee.
Comfortable, cool hotel with a great location near the convention center. The room was well furnished and equipped with everything I needed (bath robes!) Unfortunately not much of a view but so it goes. The lobby had ample room for working / a zoom call. The staff were all friendly and chill. The bar downstairs was pretty happening on a Friday night. I’d stay there again!
I enjoyed staying the weekend here so much! Very close to the airport and everything you would wanna do in the city. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful, including Sebastian and all of the valet team. We were welcomed upon arrival with hot apple cider in the lobby which was so nice to have. Pets were also very welcome and had amenities! Great food and fast room service, too. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
We came for a staycation. You cannot beat the location. Parked in the garage next door. Charge is now $36 overnight vs $30 last year. Checkin was super fast, mentioned that we had been upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite (yeah!), got our room card and off we went to room 303. Entered the suite and oh my goodness - separate room with desk, TV, fridge, couch and chair, fantastic views. Bedroom had a plush king bed, TV, the best smelling body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and lovely smelling soap. The bed was so soft and comfortable I slept a full 9 hours. I never sleep more than 6! It was an absolute wonderful stay. I was able to checkout on the IHG app and off we went. We come here annually for staycation and was reminded again why we keep coming back. Well done Hotel Monaco.
We had a wonderful time here. We didn’t rent a car, but it was a good decision since everything was so walkable. Their coffee and tea bar in the mornings saved us a headache. The food at their restaurant was delicious, and the hotel manager, Catherine, was just the epitome of amazing costumer service (even noticing it was my fiancé’s birthday from his ID)! The entire staff was just lovely.
This place is very nice! It is a great location, clean, and well-maintained. The beds are so comfy! There is a nice fitness room, and a restaurant. A few things to be aware of: this hotel doesn't have a pool, hot tub, or free breakfast. Also, the bathroom door is a pocket door with no lock.
Emily made the whole experience. She went above and beyond to make sure that my friend and I had a good stay. There were a few issues with the room, but she handled everything with such care and professionalism. Location is excellent and beds are very comfortable.
First impressions mixed. Historic building...had been remodeled a few times. No free parking though...valet service only $47/ night. AND gratuity not included and expected!!! Beds are comfy....no coffee maker in room, only available in lobby. Microwave can be requested and sent to room. Fitness room was adequately equipped....but will be crowded if there are 5 + persons in there.
Beautiful rooms with beds and pillows that enable you to get a proper nights rest. I was able to fall asleep easily and not wake up in the middle of the night. The location of this property in the downtown area, makes walking to other locations highly convenient. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and the menu is fantastic!
The spa rooms are perfection, great relaxing and very comfortable room. The bed and pillows were so cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed Bambara for Brunch and the Vault for drinks. This was a stay cation to have a few nights to relax, chill, do nothing after the holidays. We will be back. We loved that this is a dog friendly hotel. We left ours at home but will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. The check in process with Carl was the quickest and easiest check in we have ever experienced and extra cozy welcome with the Apple cider bar.
Great location and fantastic employees. The facility was nice and parts seem recently upgraded. The bar is really nice as is the restaurant. Pricing seems to have been matched to the Chase Sapphire perks which is fine if you’re using them and maybe a little pricey if not. We didn’t bring our fog but it looked to be very dog friendly. Managers, if you’re reading this, you need to ditch the valet tipping through the 3rd party software. Those valet guys are amazing employees and deserve all their tips. The app takes a service fee on every one. That’s not fair and kind of gross. They deserve better.
