Despite mostly positive sentiment from returning guests regarding service and kitchen amenities, this Homewood Suites faces severe concerns regarding cleanliness, outdated infrastructure, and service inconsistencies. Recent visitors deal with issues like broken amenities, poor housekeeping, and rooms feeling more like extended stay facilities.
We always enjoy staying here every year for cheer comp. This year I was actually disappointed with this hotel. On the app I picked the room I wanted and checked in. We goto the hotel at 5pm and the app told me to goto the front desk. Come to find out our room was not cleaned and we had to have a different room. Fine whatever. The people above us were break dancing I swear at 12 am and kids running up and down the halls. But the icing on the cake was the maid walking into peoples rooms at 8:30am after only knocking once. I watched as the maid walked into the room across from us only to be yelled at by the people still in there and the door slammed in her face then she came to our room I answered it pretty fast just to have her ask are you checking out today? I feel like they should know that already and check out is not till noon. FYI. Breakfast definitely was not like last years. So we actually booked our 2nd night elsewhere and I think our time there is over.
The photos looked reasonable online but the room I had was dark and awkward. The bedroom furniture was too big and the door from the living room section into the bedroom could not even open all the way…I believe this is a fire hazard. There was an excessive scented carpet type odor throughout the hotel and in the bedroom. The location is near a busy road and there was no escaping the sound. Pass on this one of you have options. Despite the brand I would only give this 2 stars.
No TV for 4 days. No maid cleaned the room for 4 days even though I asked. I had to grab a maid in the hallway and beg her to do it. No shampoo in the bathroom, but 2 conditioners. A computer in there business center didn't work. The breakfast was about the worst of all the Hilton brands we've stayed in. The only positives worth mentioning are good location for our skiing, and the Wednesday happy hour was a nice surprise. Won't stay here again.
Not the Hilton experience I am accustomed to. More like an extended stay America. The website it deceptive regarding room sizes. The room was dated with a non locking bathroom door, slow draining shower, no room service and poor room immensities. Price was fine but I will not be back.
Very good overall. Good breakfast offerings. Only disappointment was that rooms do not have security safes.
Old smelly carpet, the lobby was a storage area. No joke, pallets and boxes everywhere. My room was dirty. I felt like I was getting sick the whole time I was there. The AC didn’t work and I sweated all nice like I was in a sauna. The windows were broken and wouldn’t stay open. The ladies at the counter were great, however. This was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I visit all over the world.

Rooms were a bit dated. We had a tub, not a walk-in shower (4 out of 5). Otherwise, it was great! Tania, at the front desk was helpful and friendly to me and to others that I observed. Breakfast was always ready ahead of time. Location met our needs perfectly and the price was reasonable.
I came for work my trip ended up being longer than I expected the hotel staff. The management, everything it's been very, very awesome. They have accommodated my needs. I have been a bit of a pain, but they have Done everything they can to accommodate me. I am very appreciative of this. Location, highly recommend staying here
Would not stay here again. We stayed here for a volleyball tournament in salt lake. We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, there were several issues that made it less than ideal. At times, there was no hot water in our room, which was frustrating and inconvenient, especially to a sweaty athlete. We also couldn’t find a single working ice machine on the property — even the ice maker in our room’s freezer was broken. When we arrived, there was only one staff member on duty, who was doing her best to manage the front desk and housekeeping at the same time. She was kind and working hard, but clearly overwhelmed, I truly felt bad for her. She was trying to fix the AC when we arrived, so definitely multi tasking and doing her best. Now for our room. It had a strong musty smell, like mold, Wallpaper was bubbling, water stains on ceiling, dust collecting on the popcorn ceiling around the fan and again the lack of hot water and broken ice machine in the freezer. We were very surprised (and confused) to find towels underneath the fitted sheet on the bed — something that definitely made us question the cleanliness of the room. We’ve stayed in many hotels and understand that things can go wrong, but this was disappointing to say the least an felt like a complete waste of money.
